Apple fans will be able to watch the launch of the next-generation iPad Air, iPad mini and iMac line next week via a dedicated live stream, the company has confirmed.
The private press event, which kicks off at 10 a.m. ET/1 p.m. PT on Oct. 16 at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, will be live streamed at Apple.com/live. You’ll need to use the Safari browser (either via desktop or mobile), though, in order to access the live stream.
The new iPads are expected to include Touch ID fingerprint sensors, as well as the newer A8 chip (the same one featured in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus). There’s also the possibility of a gold iPad making a debut. Read more…
