It isn’t even Halloween, but if you want to see the national tree lighting in Washington, D.C., it’s time to start thinking Christmas.
Tickets for the National Christmas Tree lighting on Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. ET will be available through an online lottery, according to the National Park Service and National Park Foundation. The lottery will be open from 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 17 to 10 a.m. ET to Oct. 20, 2014.
The event takes place at the White House Ellipse in President’s Park, and the evening includes musical performances in addition to the tree lighting. Read more…
