Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard secured his team a spot in the NBA's Western Conference semifinals Friday night, when he made a last-minute three-point shot in game 6 against the Houston Rockets for a 99-98 victory, according to the NBA's official website.
Houston tied the game up at 91 when center Dwight Howard made four free throws in a row, the Associated Press reported. The Rockets pulled ahead when Howard made a bank shot with only three minutes left on the clock. Read more...
