If you don't recognize her name, you'll likely know Megan Amram by her Twitter avatar: a hilariously unflattering portrait of the comedian retracting her chin and closing one eye ever-so-slightly more than the other.
It's perhaps the most immediate public example of Amram's unique comedic style — a mix of subtle satire and unhinged absurdity that's landed her writing jobs with the Academy Awards, the Kroll Show and Parks and Recreation. Amram's latest venture is called Science...For Her!, a satirical book that's part women's magazine, part high school biology textbook.
