A child's birthday party became a horrific tragedy in Sacramento, California, after a group of gunmen opened fire, killing one man and wounding six others on Saturday.
Gunmen fired "several shots" toward a group gathered at a playground at Peregrine Park to attend the birthday party of a 1-year-old child around 5 p.m. PT, hitting "multiple people," the Sacramento Police Department said in a release. One man in his twenties died as a result of the shooting, while six others were wounded, a police spokesperson confirmed to Mashable.
