Get ready for Edward Snowden, the movie.
Glenn Greenwald has signed a movie deal with Sony for his book “No Place to Hide: Edward Snowden, the NSA and the U. S. Surveillance State,” the NY Times reports.
Curiously, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are slated to produce the film; the duo is best known for producing the latest wave of James Bond films, “Skyfall” and “Quantum of Solace.”
Hollywood interest in the film has grown since Greenwald’s book was first teased last fall. Sony is perhaps well-suited for this film, however, given its past experience with movies like “The Social Network.”
Meanwhile, Greenwald is busy promoting his newly released book, most recently during a signing event at New York-based university Cooper Union.

Edward Snowden is coming to theaters near you — with James Bond flair
