The British Media Has Been Totally Freaking Out Over Scottish Independence

The British media doesn't usually agree on much. But it seems to be in lock-step agreement on the issue of Scottish independence — it's a bad idea.

As Scotland nears a referendum vote on Sept. 18 that it will determine whether it remains part of the United Kingdom, the British press has built itself into a frenzy

A "yes" vote would mean that Scotland leaves the United Kingdom and becomes an independent country. A "no" vote would mean it remains in the UK. Prime Minister David Cameron has pleaded with Scotland in an effort to keep the kindgom intact.
