Latest version of the Google Play Store is now available to download manually

Have nothing to do and dislike waiting for updates? Good news. The latest version of the Google Play Store is now available to download. What is included in v4.6.16? First off, you can now install a ton of applications all at once; however, mass removal of apps has been removed. Why Google added one side and got rid of the other is rather odd. Also, due to the recent in-app purchases lawsuit, the Play Store now has a diverse set of three required password options: always, every thirty minutes, or never.

Moving on to Settings, which has relocated to the navigation bar in the Play Store. A new checkbox now reads “Add icon to Home screen” rather than saying “Auto-add widgets” since icons were the actual item being dropped onto the Home screen. Also within the Setting menu is a button that checks for a Play Store update; therefore, you will not have to wait for one to be pushed to your device. Actually, you will probably still have to wait.

If you would like to get your hands on the latest version of the Play Store, hit the download link below and then start downloading. This is the official APK from Google and it will replace your current version of the Play Store.
