Hundreds if not thousands of students and members of the community held a candlelight vigil at the University of California, Santa Barbara, on Saturday night following the horrific shooting that shocked the school and country Friday
Those gathered for the vigil marched for about a mile through the streets, but did not speak. The silence was interrupted by sobbing, and at one point, a rendition of "Amazing Grace" by UCSB's Acapella group
The event was organized through a Facebook page, which listed more than 4,500 people as planning to attend. Read more...
