Android Device Manager updated with Guest Mode

Since Android Device Manager initially rolled out last year, it has been a great way for Android users to track and manage their devices. Now, the app has been updated to include Guest Mode, which allows you to login via another user’s device in order to access yours.

Android Device Manager is a powerful tool that will let you access your device if it has been lost or stolen. You can completely erase and wipe the device, reset the lockscreen PIN, and of course, track it on Google Maps, all via your computer. Now, all of these feature can be accessed through another user’s device.

With Guest Mode, you can use another Android device to track, wipe, and manage yours. This is especially useful if you are out with friends and family and misplace your device. You can then use someone else’s phone to properly secure your device until you can get your hands on it again. This is important because you won’t always be able to get to a computer as quickly as you would like in order to perform these functions.

The update is rolling out now, and will likely hit your device soon. If you haven’t yet set up Android Device Manager, be sure to hit the link below to do so.
