A telenovela star is joining the cast of NBC's Constantine in a role that fans of the Hellblazer comics will know well.
Angélica Celaya, best known for her work on Spanish television, has been enlisted to play the role of Zed, a psychic who has a very dark past and comes to be Constantine's right-hand woman
Celaya, who has also appeared on TNT's Dallas, replaces Lucy Griffiths, who was cut from the show after producers decided to take the show in a different direction. Griffiths had been cast to play an original character named Liv, who meets Constantine (Matt Ryan) in the first episode of the series and uncovers shocking truths about her past and future.
