A photo of a student breastfeeding her child at her graduation ceremony has received resounding praise on Facebook.
Queensland mother Jacci Sharkey sent the photo to the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) in early October, thanking the university for letting her complete her degree while giving birth to two babies, Ari and Alek (20 months old and 6 weeks old in the photo, respectively).
The photo was snapped by her sister-in-law and shows the proud mum in her university robe feeding Alek.
"Just wanted to share a photo from the most recent graduation that I am proud of. I'm extremely proud that with the support of the Uni, during my degree I was able to have 2 babies and still finish my degree. Thanks USC!" 24-year-old Sharkey wrote, with the hashtag #itcanbedone. Read more...
