HTC has uploaded its official Scribble application to the Play Store in order to take full advantage of Google’s ultra-fast update distribution service. At present, the app is only available to download on smartphones running Sense 6, but, according to the company, support will be added for other devices in the not-too-distant future.
For those unaware of Scribble, it’s essentially a piece of digital scrapbooking software. Users have the facility to add photos, text, lists and illustrations to a blank canvas, which they can then arrange in an artistic manner thanks to the integration of a color palette.
Scribble also bundles support for a stylus input for those who prefer to write or draw using a physical pen, although the only device that can currently take advantage of this feature is the One Max — which is on the verge of becoming obsolete. Nevertheless, it’s still a pretty cool function to have, and we suspect it will gain a lot of use when the app is made compatible with non-HTC devices.
