AT&T has released the latest version of Android 4.4.4 to their Moto X customers. The update isn’t very significant, bringing only a few security and backend fixes, but one interesting change is the addition of the ability to turn off the carrier name in the status bar.
The rollout for 4.4.4 is a wide release, meaning all you have to do is head to Settings > About phone on your Moto X and check for updates, and you may very well get it on your first try.
