James Patterson’s when-animals-attack drama Zoo will be housed at CBS.
The network announced today it has given a straight-to-series order for the drama, based on the 2012 bestselling novel. The first season will consist of 13 episodes and air summer 2015.
The thriller centers on a wave of violent animal attacks against humans that begin taking place across the world, and follows a young biologists’ efforts to thwart the string of increasingly ferocious attacks and uncover the truth behind them. The pilot was written by former Fringe EP Jeff Pinkner, former Star-Crossed EPs Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec and Happy Town creator Scott Rosenberg. Read more…
