You probably know the newly elected senators — or you've at least heard their names. But what about the rest of the politicians voted into office last week?

Hundreds of elections took place across the country, and most of the victors will remain largely anonymous outside of their immediate jurisdiction. But a few of the new members of Congress have biographies that stand out.
