Here are some of the top stories in healthcare, telemedicine, and mobile health that our sister site mHealthWatch has been monitoring this past week.

It’s a bitter pill — and one hard for healthcare professionals to swallow. It appears that pharmas are failing to mobile-optimize their websites for healthcare professionals, even as mobile devices (especially smartphones have become a critical component of how HCPs access digital health info in the workplace.


Last week at Health 2.0, Allscripts — a health IT solutions provider focused on population health management adoption – showed off its new Developer Portal which was used by Code-A-Thon attendees to integrate with Allscripts solutions.


On Wednesday, mHealthWatch was briefed by organizers of the forthcoming mHealth Summit on the individual tapped to deliver this year’s opening keynote.


Though much of the conversation about healthcare has been focused on retirees who are living longer than ever (with inevitable hiccups for both the economics and efficiencies), the next wave could change the very nature of healthcare in the U.S.
