MELBOURNE — Since flight MH17 was shot down by pro-Russian separatists in July, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott hasn’t been afraid to talk the talk as far as Vladimir Putin is concerned
After imposing trade sanctions and openly criticising a perceived lack of action in the wake of the tragedy, Abbott has vowed to “shirt-front” the Russian president when he ventures Down Under for the upcoming G20 summit in Brisbane
“I am going to shirt-front Mr Putin, you bet I am,” said Abbott. “I’m going to be saying to Mr Putin, Australians were murdered, they were murdered by Russian-backed rebels using Russian-supplied equipment.” Read more…
