LG G3 Stylus edition Dubuting at IFA Berlin

LG_G3_STYLUS_12-announcementLG should be releasing the LG G3 Stylus this week in order to offer choice among low-tier phones for stylus usage. The device will feature LG’s QuickMemo+, Dual Window, Smart Keyboard, Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, and Knock Code, much like LG’s other offerings on the market of late. Although not fair competition for the Note 3, the G3 Stylus will house a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, a 5.5-inch qHD screen (960 x 540, not 2K), 8 GB of storage with an SD slot, and 1 GB of RAM. The camera is impressive–much like LG’s other low-end phones–and the entire machine is run by a very capable 3,000 mAh removable battery.

Dr. Jong-seok Park, CEO of LG, has high hopes for the phone, saying, “With its exceptional hardware and exceptional price that can’t be beat, the LG G3 Stylus is in a category all by itself.” For the sake of the emerging phone market in the targeted South American, Middle Eastern, African, and Asian markets, I hope he is right. A powerful, speedy phone, with a super battery should more than shake the industry and start offering devices better than the Galaxy Young to developing tech markets worldwide. While the price has not been shared with the public as of yet, if placed at the correct value, many people will be rushing to snatch up the device. Keep your eyes peeled for the release next week to see if the phone will actually take the world by storm.
