Disney just dropped the opening credits sequence for its highly anticipated new show Girl Meets World, the spinoff of the '90s cult hit Boy Meets World. And if it's any indicator of what's to come, we may be in trouble

Don't get us wrong, the song is sweet and bubbly, titled "Take On the World," sung by the show's teenage stars Rowan Blanchard (who plays Riley Matthews) and Sabrina Carpenter (Maya Hart, Riley's Shawn Hunter counterpart). But it just doesn't hold a candle to the oh-so nostalgic "walkin' down this road that we call life" tune that made Boy Meets World a childhood staple
